Day 4
Well last night was great, we got a nice and cheap motel in Peterborough which was across the road from a great steakhouse, the only problem was 2 guys having a very load brawl outside the hotel at about 2am, but we were so tired we managed to get back to sleep easy enough, but we were still awake early this morning (jet lag) so we got off early and headed for Toronto and tapped in the CN tower into the sat nav, and a few hours later we were parking up at the base of this very tall building. We timed it just right as it was getting busy just as we got there, it still took us about 2 hours to get through the tour but it was well worth it, the weather was perfect today and the visibility was just about perfect.
We got some great photos and afterwards we had some lunch by the water.
Afterwards we headed towards Niagara Falls but unfortunately the freeway was under repair and was backed up, so it took us ages to finally get to Niagara Falls. We had planned on seeing as much as we could and then head out of town and check into a hotel en-route to our next destination, But the traffic meant we got there late afternoon, so reluctantly we checked into a hotel 1 block form the falls. We had enough time to see the falls as it was till very sunny. We will get to see much more tomorrow morning but what we saw so far was fantastic.
We are slowly realising that this trip is going to cost a bit more than we expected, Canada is a lot more expensive than the US, but we are hoping that as we have been in 3 major cities we are going to see some improvement in the cost of things as we move into the more rural spots.
